VIRGINIE FILMS

VIRGNIE FILMS is a French based production company created by Virginie Lacombe in 2012. 

Virginie Lacombe has been active in the film industry for over 20 years. Her career began with a mockumentary for Canal Plus titled Que Reste-t-il de Chris Conty. In 2010, she produced the series Extra Life for OCS. Her debut feature film, The Other Son by Lorraine Lévy, earned the Grand Prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival.   

Virginie has also contributed to the production of acclaimed films such as Faith Connections by Pan Nalin, which was featured at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2017, she co-produced Mobile Homes by Vladimir de Fontenay, showcased at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight, and worked on Blockbuster, a French comedy for Netflix directed by July Hygreck.   

In 2019, she presented Port Authority, the debut film by Danielle Lessovitz, selected for the Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard section. Continuing her collaboration with Pan Nalin, she introduced Last Film Show at the 2021 Tribeca Festival. Most recently, she completed Tommy Guns by Carlos Conceição, which won two awards at the Locarno Film Festival in 2022.   

Currently, Virginie is finalizing two feature films while actively developing new projects in both film and television.
